How can I use the eSIM service?
To use your eSIM, your phone must support eSIM technology and be unlocked.
iOS Devices:
Make sure you’re running iOS 12.1 or later. If your device was purchased through a carrier, it may be locked to that network. You can check with your carrier to unlock it for eSIM use.
Android Devices:
Most newer Android phones, including Samsung and Pixel models, support eSIM. Check your device settings or manufacturer website to confirm support and unlock status.
Once your device is ready, you can activate your eSIM by scanning the QR code or following the manual installation steps we’ll send after your purchase.
In what scenarios can eSIM service be used?
- Add a local data plan when you travel outside of the country or region.
- Use eSIM for Data and keep your voice line separate.
How to Set up eSIM for iOS?
- Purchase the eSIM data plan on our website.
- Receive QR code and eSIM activation link with manual instructions by email.
- Set up your eSIM profile as follows:
- Go to your device [Settings] > [Cellular or Mobile Data] > [Add Cellular Plan].
- Scan the QR code sent by email, or manually enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided in the shareable link included in the email.
- Tap [Add Cellular Plan].
- Choose [Secondary] Label and change the name to "eSIM."
- Select the option for "Use eSIM for cellular data only" and tap [Continue].
- Select the option for ‘Use Primary as the preferred line’ and tap [Done].
- Check if the APN Name matches with the eSIM order: Tap on eSIM > [Cellular Data Network] > [APN].
- Make sure Data Roaming is enabled for the new eSIM from your phone settings.
How to Set up eSIM for Android?
- Purchase the eSIM data plan on our website.
- Receive QR code and eSIM activation link with manual instructions by email.
- Set up your eSIM profile as follows:
- Go to your device [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [Mobile Network].
- Tap "Download a SIM instead?" > Download your SIM > Tap [Next].
- Scan the QR code sent by email, or manually enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided in the shareable link included in the email.
- Tap [Download] and [Done].
- Check if the APN Name matches with the eSIM order: Tap "eSIM" and tap [Advanced] > Tap [Access Point Names] > [APN].
- Make sure Data Roaming is enabled for the new eSIM from your phone settings.
How fast is the network speed?
5G/4G/LTE service is available in most countries and continues to be covered in more countries.
Are voice calls and SMS included?
Only data is included, but you can use internet-based apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram, or Messenger to make voice and video calls.
How to use dual SIM on iPhone and set up your cellular plan with eSIM?
Dual SIM on iPhone offers you the freedom to get separate voice/SMS and data plans. At this stage, only cellular data is available on our eSIM platform. Therefore, after you scan a QR code to add the eSIM, please label it "Secondary" on the "Cellular Plan Labels" page, and then go to the "Default Line" page, choose "Use [Secondary] for cellular data only." Should I switch on Data Roaming when using eSIM?
Please make sure to enable Data Roaming and set your new eSIM as the active data line. Go to Settings > Cellular, select your new eSIM, turn on Data Roaming, and set it as your Cellular Data line.
How to remove the eSIM data plan after use?
You can use your phone's delete eSIM function.
How do I get my eSIM after purchase?
You will receive an email with your eSIM activation details. Please check spam or junk folder if you have not received it after 1 minute.
How is the validity period of the plan calculated?
The actual usage time of some data plans may start according to your eSIM's first connection. We will describe this in the package information.
How to check the balance of remaining data?
For some packages, you can view your data usage using the shareable link provided in the activation email. However, for some orders, data usage may not be available. In that case, you can check your data usage directly on your iPhone by going to Settings > Cellular and looking under the eSIM section.
Can I have multiple phones scan the same QR code?
No, but the same device can rescan the same QR code.
If I lost my eSIM Link or QR code, what can I do?
Check your email or contact us.
Will my physical SIM still work while eSIM is installed?
Yes, your physical SIM can still work. We suggest turning off data roaming and turning on "WiFi calling."
